As a kid I always remember time seemed to pass so slowly, almost dreadfully so. Now as an adult I feel as though time just doesn't stop. It flies by and I often wonder if I will be able to keep up. Some moments I wish I could capture in time and live in that moment forever. I suppose that is why we should treasure each moment we have been given. I know it sounds trite and cliche but I really think it is sound advice. Making the most of every moment I have been give has been my motto recently. I want to make every moment count and make the most of the time I spend with people. It is something that I am continually working on each day, to see the beauty and wonder in each passing moment.
I think Star Trek's Captain Picard says it best:
"Time is a companion that goes with us on a journey. It reminds us to cherish each moment, because it will never come again."
